Sources & Methodology
How the data on this site is gathered, verified, and maintained — and the editorial principles we follow.
How This Site Works
This site publishes only data sourced from public financial disclosures, legally published investigative journalism, and recognised financial research organisations. All asset descriptions and connection summaries are original paraphrases — no copyrighted text from any source is reproduced. We carry no political affiliation and aim to present facts without editorialisation.
Forbes Financial Estimates
Forbes publishes ongoing net worth estimates for Donald Trump as part of its Forbes 400 and real-time billionaire tracking. These figures are based on an analysis of disclosed assets, market valuations, and financial disclosures, adjusted by Forbes reporters. All net worth figures on this site are drawn from Forbes unless another source is explicitly noted.
Congressional Financial Disclosure Forms
As a sitting president, Donald Trump files annual financial disclosures with the Office of Government Ethics, required under the Ethics in Government Act. These forms list assets, liabilities, and income sources within broad ranges. They are publicly available and form a baseline for asset tracking.
Center for American Progress — Trump's Take
The Center for American Progress maintains a running tracker of financial flows connected to the Trump administration, drawing on SEC filings, blockchain analytics, and journalism. Their methodology notes are public and their figures are cross-referenced against other sources before use here.
Reuters, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal
Investigative reporting from these three publications forms the backbone of the connections and events data. All reported facts are paraphrased in original language and attributed to the relevant outlet without reproducing copyright-protected text.
SEC Filings & EDGAR
Publicly listed entities connected to Trump — primarily Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT) — file quarterly and annual reports with the SEC. These are primary sources for financial data related to those entities and are publicly accessible via EDGAR.
Wikipedia (Trump Organization, World Liberty Financial, Residences)
Wikipedia articles aggregate verified citations from primary sources. Where used for reference, the underlying citations from Wikipedia are the actual sources consulted. Wikipedia text itself is not reproduced on this site.
Blockchain Analytics
Cryptocurrency holdings and transaction data related to Trump-linked tokens (WLFI, $TRUMP, USD1) are tracked via on-chain analytics cited in reporting by Reuters, Bloomberg, and the blockchain analytics firm Bubblemaps. Token values are highly volatile and the figures shown represent point-in-time estimates.
What This Site Cannot Tell You
Net worth estimates are inherently imprecise. Private company valuations are not externally audited. Crypto assets are volatile and may differ significantly by the time you read any figure. The irrevocable trust structure that holds many assets is not fully transparent. Many licensing arrangements carry undisclosed financial terms. This site reflects the best available public evidence, not verified fact in every case.
About the Platform
This site is built in PHP with a MySQL database and runs on standard shared hosting. It uses OpenStreetMap via Leaflet for mapping. No tracking scripts, advertising code, or third-party analytics are loaded. Session data is used only for security (CSRF protection). All user-facing inputs are sanitised with parameterised queries and output escaping.
