The God Bless the USA Bible bundles the King James Version with the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, the Pledge of Allegiance, and a handwritten chorus of Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA." It was promoted in a video released on Good Friday in which Trump said, "All Americans need a Bible in their home, and I have many." He then called it his "favourite book."

In a 2015 interview, Trump declined to name a favourite Bible verse, saying he preferred to keep it personal. In a 2016 speech, he referred to Second Corinthians as "Two Corinthians." The book's website notes the Bible is "not owned, managed or controlled" by Trump, which raises interesting theological questions about endorsement.

The promotion campaign was headlined with the slogan "make America pray again."
