Stephen Kevin Bannon (born November 27, 1953) is an American media executive and political strategist who served as White House Chief Strategist during the early months of Trump's first term and has remained an influential figure in Trump-aligned media as executive chairman of Breitbart News and host of the War Room podcast.

Bannon's name and a photograph of him appeared in the January 2026 DOJ document release, in material showing Epstein sending him a link to a news article via text message. The image had previously been redacted before the DOJ, after press inquiries, restored it — since the photo had already been publicly available elsewhere. No allegations of wrongdoing have been made against Bannon in connection with Epstein's trafficking network.
