Kathryn Ruemmler is an American lawyer who served as White House Counsel to President Barack Obama from 2011 to 2014. She subsequently became a senior partner at Goldman Sachs and one of the most prominent white-collar defence lawyers in the United States. Ruemmler's name appeared in the DOJ Epstein email releases of November 2025. Released emails showed an exchange between Ruemmler and Epstein in which she described Donald Trump as "disgusting." In his reply, Epstein wrote that Trump was "even worse in reality and up close." In other emails to Ruemmler, Epstein described meetings with various well-known individuals and referenced her as "a welcome guest" among them.

The emails indicate a social relationship between Ruemmler and Epstein. She had not commented publicly on the released emails as of the time of the document release.
